Marcel Breuer Nesting Plywood Table for Isokon - 1936
Description
Marcel Breuer nesting plywood coffee table for Isokon, designed in 1936 in England. Nesting table, originally part of a series of five pieces. As a true landmark in 20th-century furniture design, these nesting tables were re-issued in collaboration with Margaret Howell in 2022.
This particular coffee table is simplistic, yet expressive in its design. Made of white lacquered plywood. It’s a modernist side table that radiates pure elegance. Would fit well in a Scandinavian interior with a modern touch. In good original condition.
