L07 Daybed by Pierre Chapo - 1960s
Description
Designed in 1963, Pierre Chapo's L07 daybed is a timeless piece that seamlessly transitions from a sleek bench or single daybed into a spacious double daybed. Constructed from natural elm wood, the L07 features slatted surfaces and a clean, architectural design that reflects Chapo's deep respect for material, form, and function. Pierre Chapo, inspired by architectural greats such as Frank Lloyd Wright, Le Corbusier, and Bauhaus principles, imbued this piece with his hallmark attention to proportion and natural beauty. Whether as a functional furniture element or a statement piece, the L07 encapsulates the enduring appeal of mid-century modern design.
