Mid-20th-century Brutalist round coffee table, defined by a substantial planked top, four block-shaped legs and exposed construction.
Brutalist Round Coffee Table - Mid-20th Century
Description
Brutalist round coffee table dating to the mid-20th century, constructed around a substantial circular top assembled from broad sections of timber. Four heavy rectangular legs are positioned around the perimeter, meeting the thick outer edge of the tabletop and giving the table its distinctive architectural structure. Visible wooden pegs and clearly articulated joints emphasize the directness of the construction.
The warm wooden surface retains pronounced grain alongside cracks, old marks and subtle variations developed through age and use. The table combines compact proportions with a notably grounded presence. Its designer, manufacturer and precise geographic origin remain unknown and have therefore not been attributed. All our rustic furniture has undergone a two-cycle preventive woodworm treatment for long-term care.
