Art Deco Dining Set by Charles Dudouyt - 1940s
Description
This rare 1940s French dining set by Charles Dudouyt includes an extendable oak table and eight matching ladder-back chairs, all showcasing the designer’s signature post-Art Deco rustic modernism. The table features a stunning diamond-pattern parquetry top and sculptural turned legs with carved circular motifs, while the chairs are crafted in warm oak with rush-woven seats and bold geometric detailing on the backs. Unified by their sculptural forms and rich textures, this set is a striking example of Dudouyt’s craftsmanship and timeless design sensibility.
