Description

This exceptionally rare table lamp by Joaquim Tenreiro, crafted in Brazil circa 1950, showcases the essence of Brazilian modernism. It features an articulated arm and vibrant yellow conical shade, made of enameled metal. Despite Tenreiro's focus on furniture, this lamp stands out as a unique piece in his oeuvre, emphasizing his "anti-minimalist faith" through its impactful design. Recognized in 'Madeira Arte e Design' and 'Casa e Jardim, 1956,' this piece is a testament to Tenreiro's ability to create visual impact with minimal resources.
