Round Brutalist Coffee Table, the Netherlands, Wabi-Sabi Inspired, 1970's
Round Brutalist Coffee Table - 1970's
Description
Brutalism is a movement within architecture that originated from modernism. It is characterized by often large block-like structures and rough material. But in furniture, it's a bit different. The interfaces in design are clear. Angular or organic, heavy, and original raw material, a lot of brutalist furniture was also made until the seventies. This wooden coffee table consists of three solid legs that are rounded on top. The table is completely timeless and fits in many interiors, like wabi-sabi or Hollywood regency-inspired.
The dining chair in the photos can be found under a different listing.
