Description
FLOS Toio floor lamp in white. The designers Pier Giacomo and Achille Castiglion named it after the the word thoy. This inventive lamp blends an industrial style with a timeless and whimsical design. This lamp has garnered awards and even earning a place in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Toio floor lamp has an enamel steel base that supports a hexagon shaped, nickel-plated brass stem. Along the stem are fishing rod rings used to guide the electrical cord from the bulb to the transformer. A cleat on the base, like that found on a boat or ship, serves as a functional element designed to keep the cord neatly coiled in when the lamp is adjusted to a lower height. The Toio comes with an incandescent bulb and provides indirect light. Adjustable in height. Price per piece.- Materials
