Boat Sculpture by Curtis Jere - 1970's
Description
Electic brass sailing boat sculpted by Curtis Jeré in the USA in the Seventies. This remarkable artwork is made out of brass and is intended to be standing. This item would fit well in a Hollywood Regency-inspired interior. Curtis Jeré is a pseudonym for the design team of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels. As a team, they created remarkable furnishings and decorative objects in the 1970s. Their design company, launched in 1964, is called Artisan House. Together, these two artists have made a range of designs; from sculptures and dynamically framed mirrors to lighting and wall decorations. Their designs are mainly known for their eclectic metalwork.
