Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Cassina 'Soriana' Lounge Chair - 1970's
Afra and Tobia Scarpa, reupholstered cognac aniline leather, Cassina, Italy, the 1970s
The Soriana collection was meant to express beauty and comfort by using a whole bundle of fabric held by a chrome-plated steel clamp. The "Soriana Chair" was the first piece designed in the collection and won the Compasso D'oro in 1969 for its design. Would fit well in a more eclectic Hollywood Regency-inspired interior as in a more monochromatic Minimalist Maria Pergay style decor.
Priced per piece, two lounge chairs available.
