In the years 1921 - 1931 the Ebena factory in Belgium
was a manufacturer of beautiful ornamental boxes in Art Deco style.
The company manufactured a plastic, based on sawmill and bovine blood
to which resin species and pigments had to be added, which were molded into shapes,
the finish consisted of painting, varnishes and the application of small parts into another material.
When 1 color material was used in the paint colors red, blue, black green and / or orange
- the items were preferably decorated with gold leaf or silver.
The production consisted of all kinds of boxes, tobacco boxes, bonbonniers, cigarette boxes,
toilet boxes, lamp sockets, vases, jewelry boxes.
